Zo tell me, schatzie, you are havink rhelatives in New Jersey? Secaucus, perhaps? You have a zecret coding device? You won't tell me about it? Ve haff vays of making you talk, you know... During the recent unpleasantness (1939 - 1944), duh Chermans had one of the most exotic and secure encryption devices ever. Alas, they thought their codes were unbreakable. Fortunately for the world, they weren't. Here is a neat program which will show you how the device worked. This program will actually allow you to encrypt and decrypt messages just like your greatgreat-uncle the Sturmbannfuhrer. (I am told I actually had a greatgreat-uncle over there, but he was a stabsgefreiter). For an excellent read on the whole Enigma story, find a copy of "Seizing the Enigma". It is fascinating.
